Every morning I enjoy a nice glass of water with some lemon in it. No matter if the water is cold or warm, I like to squeeze some lemon in it and it helps me start the day. This also helps me with my digestion. Drinking lemon water first thing in the morning, helps flush the digestive system and re-hydrate the body.
I often find the process of manually squeezing the lemon not too convenient. I do have an electrical citrus juicer. But taking it out of the drawer and using it for half a lemon doesn’t sound enticing for me. And I didn’t even mention that I have to wash it afterwards. It seems too much work for just a glass of water. So many times I prefer to just squeeze it by hand.
Last days, I had a new idea which I tried. And now I will share it with you. I made lemon ice cubes, which I can put in my water every morning without any extra effort. It is really convenient for me because I don’t have to worry about having fresh lemons at home.
Lemon ice cubes
Ingredients:
- 8-10 Lemons
Tools:
- Citrus juicer
- Ice cube tray
- Zip-lock bag
Procedure:
- Wash your lemons and cut them in half
- Squeeze all the lemons
- Pour the lemon juice in the ice tray
- Freeze
- You can store the ice cubes in a zip-lock bag to easily grab them from the freezer next time you want to use them.
This is really easy to make and it saves time in the morning. Enjoy using these lemon ice cubes every morning!
Don’t forget to share it if you liked it 🙂
