Who am I?
I am Gabriela and I am a mindfulness practitioner, passionate about yoga, tea, books and anything which can help me relax my mind.
I am working towards getting better at it every single day.
I used to be very temperamental and overreact without thinking too much to different situations and get angry very easily.
After I started to practice yoga and meditation, I’ve seen a clear shift in my way of being, acting and reacting.
Things that used to bother me a lot, don’t affect e that much anymore. I gained control over my reactions and now I can see things in perspective.
Surprising enough, my profession is Software Developer. So originally, my way of thinking was very far from the mindful approach. It took time, but with every step, I improved and slowly changed.
I am obviously not in a Zen bubble all the time, I still get angry and stressed sometimes, because I am human and I make mistakes.
But I am continuously working on it and improving.
I know that there are still plenty of things out there I don’t know yet, things I am not aware of and that is perfectly fine.
I am trying to not be harsh on myself, I am learning to forgive and love myself at every step.
What can you learn on my website?
The main idea you will learn is: “Mindfulness is simple”
To tell you a secret, tea is what inspired me to start my website.
Every time I am enjoying my tea it feels like a meditation on its own.
This is why I thought that tea meditation can be a very easy way to include mindfulness in other people’s life.
After that, I discovered more and more simple mindful activities, which I included here on my blog.
In every single article and product that I create, I am working towards simplifying the idea of Mindfulness.
Why should you try mindfulness?
I know that words like meditation and mindfulness intimidate a lot of people.
This is why I tried to see beyond all the definitions and find a very easy way to achieve bits and pieces of mindfulness in daily life.
There are very simple actions which you can do every day to improve your mood, reduce stress and calm your mind.
Believe me, anyone can start being mindful can benefit from mindfulness practices in their daily life.
