5 Autumn Teas That I Love

Talking about tea and autumn together, that is indeed something I love. This is why I want to share with you the autumn teas I love.

I love watching the awesome colors of the trees during autumn and the way they make me feel. I somehow have the feeling that I belong to this season.

As a tea lover, I enjoy the moment when the weather gets a bit colder because I can make more tea, of course! I probably own too many teas and I know that. But now I am showing you my favorite options when the weather cools down a bit. I convinced myself to make a short list. So I will talk only about 5 teas. Otherwise I will end up listing here all my teas. So let’s begin.

Autumn Teas I love. Green Tea Love. Gabriela Green

Green Tea

This is my favorite option every morning. I love it all the time, not only during autumn. And I know its benefits and I love to start my day with it. I could talk more about green tea and how it helps our health but that is a totally different subject.

There is a wide variety of green tea types and flavors. My personal favorite type is Green Tea Jasmine. I find this mix of flavors really nice and mild.

Autumn Teas I Love. Fruit Tea. Gabriela Green

Fruit Tea

The fruit tea somehow makes me feel that outside is cold. I don’t really know why, but I rarely drink it during the summer. So this is for sure one of my top choices in the autumn.

It is a nice one to have during the day or evening since it doesn’t contain any caffeine. There are many types of fruit teas, endless choices. Depending on the fruits they contain, the taste can be quite different. Most of them have a bit sour taste with all kind of extra flavours.

Mint

Mint tea is also a daily favourite of mine. I drink it especially after meals, because it helps with digestion. I also love the minty refreshing taste it brings.

Enjoying a mint tea helps relaxing the body and mind. The menthol is naturally found in this plant is known as a muscle relaxant. Read more about the health benefits of peppermint tea.

Autumn Teas I Love. Fresh Ginger. Gabriela Green

Ginger

Ginger tea might not have a taste that will be enjoyed by all of us. Why I like it is because it gives a warm feeling when you drink it. It also has many benefits and it had anti-inflammatory properties.

You can find it as an ingredient for teas that are already packed for you. But you can also make tea using fresh ginger, and it is really easy to prepare.

Turmeric

Turmeric tea can be prepared in different ways. To check easiest way to prepare the delicious golden milk you can read my post about it.

Besides golden milk, you can also make simple tea. Just make sure that you don’t drink the turmeric uncooked. It has to be boiled for few minutes before enjoying it. It has many benefits and it helps during the cold seasons.

Which is your favourite tea during the colder seasons?

Love,

I love the pictures you have created! I’ve just read your golden milk recipe, that sounds amazing! Can I make it with maple syrup instead of honey? Thanks for linking up to #SundayBest x

Sure, maple syrup will work fine as well. The only difference is that honey brings some extra antibacterial benefits.

Turmeric tea is completely new to me but I think I’d like it – I prefer spicier teas so ginger and liquorice are perfect for me. Fruit teas always smell better than they taste, in my opinion! Thanks so much for linking up at #KCACOLS. Hope you come back again next Sunday.

If you like spicier teas, you can play with the ingredients for the golden milk and add more ginger or cinnamon ( or chilly for a good challenge 🙂 )

Yes, the golden milk is really tasty. The trick is to not put too much turmeric, otherwise it can become bitter.

I’ve never tried turmeric tea but I’ve heard it has many benefits, I love green tea. I became a fan of silver leaf tea on my honeymoon. We found a tea shop with 1000 teas in Budapest. It was amazing.

I believe it was called 1000 tea but it was nearly 5 years ago. It was just off Vaci U. In the center of Budapest.

I have only tried green tea from your list and I didn’t find it as enjoyable as others do. I do however like white tea. I was introduced to it when on a specific diet and still drink it on occasion now!

The trick with green tea is that if you oversteep it, it becomes bitter. Maybe this was the case when you tried it 🙂
