Guided Meditation – Gratitude and Joy In The Autumn Forest

Gratitude and Joy In The Autumn Forest Guided Meditation Gabriela Green

Let’s try something new. Just get comfy, take deep breath, smile and continue reading this guided meditation.

Guided meditation

You are here and you can feel the cool air tickling your nostrils. The sun is smiling from above and warming up the branches of the trees. You hear some cracks far away.

There is a curvy path full of leaves in front of you. With your hands in your pockets you look around, amazed by all the colors surrounding you. A soft scarf is gently warming up your neck.

Your shoes are covered deep in the leaves and you can barely see them anymore. The nature around you looks happy and full of positivity.

The seasons are changing; the trees are ready to prepare for the winter. They are celebrating with wonderful colors the deep sleep they will be enjoying during the winter. They have the entire autumn to prepare for that.

You slowly start walking on the path in front of you and the leaves are crumbling under your feet. The forest is welcoming. There is a fairy-like light coming from between the trees. The pale autumn sun rays are all around.

Wait, is that a table over there? It looks like one. Let’s get closer. Increasing the pace and forgetting for a moment that you are in a forest, you get closer to it. Yes, it is a small wooden table with a teapot on it. How crazy is that? Maybe someone forgot it there long time ago.

But is that steam coming out from the teapot?

There is no way this tea is hot.

You get close and slowly touch it. It is hot indeed and you can see a small teacup behind it.

It would be nice to enjoy a cup of hot tea in the middle of a forest. There is no place to sit but you take the teacup and sit down on the crispy leaves leaning on a tree. The smell of hot tea reminds you of lots of happy moments in your life. The cup is warming up your hands. You breathe deep and look up at the sky between the branches.

The warmth of the tea is going all the way through your body and you feel grateful. You feel grateful for all the good things in your life and for every special moment that happened to you. You smile while you hold on to all these nice thoughts in your mind.

The colors around you seem even brighter and happier now. You feel the joy of every leaf dancing in the air on their way down to the big rusty rug of leaves. The atmosphere is lively and the smell of autumn is invading your lungs.

You could remain here for as long as you want. But you also know that you can come back anytime. And you will always look for the hot tea waiting for you.

You slowly get up and clean the leaves off your coat. You put back the teacup and you thank the nature for such a hearty welcome.

Keep in your mind all the good thoughts and hold on to the memory of all the magic that happened to you. Now you turn around and slowly walk back on the leafy path, leaving behind the autumn forest.

I asked too many questions along the way to be able to enjoy it…I must need to relax a bit more before reading it next time! Lovely imagery though. #KCACOLS

What kind of questions? Maybe I can make it a bit more descriptive the next time. This was my very first try 🙂

Like who’s tea is it and what was that cracking in the bushes. I’m paranoid don’t worry. The description in it really is brilliant, I love the originality xx

Wow very relaxing. I’m not to fond of the winter months, but love a hot drink to warm up. #kcacols with @WithFranca and @oddhogg

It’s funny as people always assume it’s about sunsets when it comes to meditation, so nice to find an Autumnal focus #KCACOLS
